Robert M. Akscyn is president of Knowledge Systems, Incorporated, a software company in Murrysville, Pa. specializing in the development of hypermedia systems. His principle research interest is the formative evaluation of interactive software using embedded instrumentation. Akscyn has a B.S. in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and an M.S. in systems management from the University of Southern California. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in systems science at Carnegie Mellon.
