Summary

The low end of computing is provided by scientific calculators, now so inexpensive that they have replaces slide-rules and pencil and paper techniques. Calculators are easy to use and easy to learn. Keystroke commands initiate all kinds of numerical calculations. Calculators may include memory, programmable control, mass storage, and hardcopy printers. (cbb 5/80)
