Summary
Many manufacturers sell board-level systems. Most are 8-bit but 16-bit micros are gaining popularity. Many minicomputer manufacturers produce a microcomputer version of their 16-bit mini-computers. The control system market and end users are hungry for microcomputer products. Large users of microprocessors are likely to have their own development staffs. (cbb 5/80)
