Summary

Topics help organize information. Topics may be classified hierarchically. Users may monitor a topic or contribute to a newsgroup on a topic.

Hubs and authorities are Web pages with many outgoing links or Web pages with many incoming links from hubs.

Items may be assigned to topics automatically, but topics are subjective. (cbb 10/07)
